Davide Mancini Zanchi first solo exhibition is at AplusB in Brescia, Italy. The artist (Urbino, 1986) needs to redeem from dependence on the objects, or rather from everything that is real, palpable and perceived by senses, from what is other than oneself. Paintings, sculptures and videos are conceived to abstract daily life in an own, personal formal synthesis. The artist’s strategy consists in simplifying constituent elements so to find a way out from the more and more advanced dematerialization that characterizes today’s world, and to find what is necessary to the artist to belong to the time and space in which he is physically located.
